What happens to your data

Your files and text stay on your device

Images you drop or pick, fonts you load, letters and emoji you type, HTML and manifests you paste, and every file the tools produce are handled only by JavaScript running in your browser tab. They are never sent to this site or anyone else, and they are gone when you close the tab.

Network requests

The pages load their own scripts, styles and fonts from faviconpouch.me. The text favicon tools download the font file you choose, and the ICO converter's sample icon, from this same site. Nothing you add to a tool is ever transmitted.

Analytics

FaviconPouch uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare adds to the pages to count page views. It does not use cookies or track you across sites, and it never receives what you type, paste or drop into the tools.

Cookies and storage

No cookies are set. If you choose a light or dark theme, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the next page uses it; nothing else is stored.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to other sites, such as WebTraceCheck for live checks. When the favicon checker opens WebTraceCheck, the address you typed is passed in the link so it is filled in for you; nothing else is shared, and that site's own privacy policy applies once you are there.
